Admissions
NET Academies Trust – Admissions
Mid-Year Admissions
A parent can apply for a place for their child at any school, at any time. If this is not during the normal admissions round, this is called a mid-year admission.
Katherines Primary Academy currently has places available, however places are limited for certain year groups. Places are also available across all year groups within other schools in NET Academies Trust, which are:
Abbotsweld Primary Academy | Partridge Road, Harlow Essex CM18 6TE |
Jerounds Primary Academy | Pyenest Road , Harlow Essex CM19 4PH |
Katherines Primary Academy | Brookside, Harlow Essex CM19 5NJ |
Latton Green Primary Academy | Riddings Lane, Harlow Essex CM18 7HT |
Longwood Primary Academy | Paringdon Road, Harlow Essex CM18 7RQ |
Waltham Holy Cross Primary Academy | Quendon Drive, Waltham Abbey EN9 1LG |
Your child is not guaranteed a place at your preferred school. You should not remove your child from their existing school before you have received another offer.
NET Academies Trust manages mid-year admissions to the Academy and we recommend that you contact the schools you are interested in before making a decision to move house or submit an application.
If you would like to apply for a place, please complete the Application form here and send to the school: office@katherines.netacademies.net Guidance notes are included with the form or please contact the school office should you require assistance.
Please note that, should you apply during a school holiday period, your application will be considered as received on the first school day following the holiday.
Applying from overseas – for non-UK citizens, the child must be in the UK before the application can be processed and proof of residency such as an endorsed (stamped) passport or entry visa will be required with the application.
We hold school tours every Thursday at 11.00am. If you would like to book a place, please contact the school office by phone on: 01279 421495 or email: office@katherines.netacademies.net
Reception Admissions for September
You can apply for a Reception school place for September through Essex County Council from November to January. Please apply on their website here. Only applications made through the Council will be accepted for Reception places. Children in our Nursery Class are not automatically entitled to a place in our Reception class.
